“Classical Kids In Concert,” has been in existence since May 2009 in collaboration with Miami Children’s Museum. This program was designed to offer young gifted musicians between the ages 3 and 12 the opportunity to gain more experience performing in a safe, non-threatening public audience of other children just like themselves, resulting in self-confidence. It also serves as a motivational tool by giving these students a musical goal and rewarding them for their hard work and practice by giving them free admission to the venue. The benefits of this concept is two-fold, as the children and families present are introduced and encouraged to enter the realm of classical music through private music lessons and attending more concerts.
We strongly encourage all parents, especially those with children currently studying a musical instrument or voice, to come out and support these talented youngsters with your presence. We can provide opportunities for them to perform, but they also need a supportive audience—meaning YOU!
