CHOPIN MANIA!
In celebration of the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birth, Walenstein Musical Organization will commemorate this great composer by presenting its first international music festival entitled "Walenstein Chopin Mania!"
This exciting festival has been postponed to the Fall of 2010. Fifty five (55) pianists from Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and Martin counties, as well as students from Haiti, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Canada, Mexico, and France, will perform 12 hours of Chopin’s most well known piano compositions in recital format.
To end the festival, three (3) talented guest solo artists will perform Chopin's Andante Spianato and Grand Polonaise Brilliante in E Flat, Piano Concerto No. 1 & 2 with Walenstein Symphony Orchestra.
